iheart Finland

What if all of Finland’s young people had a resilience instruction manual that could help them create a brighter future?

Since 2019 iheart Finland has been headed up by Charlotta Lynch Lead Trainer & Senior Educator, who plays a vital role in the creation of the iheart curriculum, training new iheart facilitators and delivering the curriculum to children in Finland aged 9-18.

With 11 people in the iheart Finland team they have achieved great advances in the teaching of iheart’s wellbeing and resilience curriculum to over 670 students in Finland with 80% of students saying that they think the iheart programme has helped them and they have seen a positive impact on themselves.

iheart Finland in Action

pink quotes

When I just started iheart, I didn’t take it that seriously and I was thinking…how could this help me when nothing else has helped me with my anxiety? And then I was wondering how two people coming into my class could help me with the strong anxiety that I’ve been having for months. But then as the lessons went on, I began to realise how it had actually done more than everything else altogether.

After this training I finally felt like I got the missing piece in teaching our children and youngsters about mental health, as I got a tremendous toolkit to help them navigate in this world of so many challenges with self-esteem-problems.

pink quotes

I feel less stressed since I know why I am stressed and that it is not school that makes me stressed, but how I handle it. I think it’s been easier to think in general. I’ve become less anxious about what other people think about me.
