How one young woman healed and is now running the world’s toughest race to support the mental health of others
26 year-old Jodie is running the equivalent of 6 marathons in 6 days. In April 2019, she will be running arguably the toughest foot race on earth – the Marathon des Sable – a grueling 250km run across the Sahara Desert. But there was a time not long ago when such a feat would have seemed unthinkable to her.
On 24th December 2015, Jodie woke up not knowing how she was going to manage another day. Her depression was paralysing. Jodie didn’t want to die – but she didn’t know how to live.
Please watch Jodie’s powerful video which describes her harrowing but ultimately inspiring journey form mental suffering to mental health.
