Overview

The purpose of the Schools Partnership Manager is to continuously increase the charity’s reach, through delivery of iheart programmes in schools, and in so doing, make a difference to the futures of thousands of children. This will be achieved by establishing, building and enhancing collaborative relationships with schools to achieve long-term, sustainable impact.

Working hours: Full-time (35 hours)

Key Responsibilities

pink-droplet    Develop and implement an engagement plan that will strategically drive the development of new school partnerships, with a focus on reaching young people within specific target groups, as identified by the charity.

pink-droplet    Understand and acquire strong knowledge of the range of iheart programmes applicable to schools, including: the ignite digital programme for young people; facilitated full curriculum; 1-1 Resilience Tutoring; training programmes for teachers/staff; and support programmes for parents/carers.

pink-droplet    Utilise this programme knowledge to craft the best solution for different schools taking into account need, age and other key demographic and environmental factors relevant to each school.

pink-droplet    Work collaboratively with school communities and educational leaders to understand their unique set of circumstances and co-develop packages of support based on the existing range of iheart programmes.

pink-droplet    Foster a whole-school approach through engagement with school communities to co-create a shared language of innate wellbeing and resilience, leading to long-term relationships with schools.

pink-droplet    Enhance existing relationships with schools and other educational institutions to continue, adapt and upscale the provision of iheart programmes within each existing school partnership.

pink-droplet    In addition to individual school relationships, build effective and collaborative relationships with school bodies/groupings (e.g. Multi-Academy Trusts; localised school ‘clusters, etc.) as well as local authorities, youth foundations, community providers, health partnerships and other such groupings that will lead to iheart programme delivery in schools.

pink-droplet    Work closely with the Grants Manager, the CEO and other members of the Fundraising Team to:

1) Establish a set of criteria (threshold of need) to determine which schools will receive funded iheart programmes.

2) Share knowledge and identify gaps in funding and act as a connector for partnerships bids/grants applications between schools and the charity.

3) Match funds raised by the charity to schools/institutions in need of support who meet iheart’s requirement for funded interventions. 

pink-droplet    Work closely with the Operations and Finance Teams to gain an understanding of how iheart programmes are costed and support the development of a “menu offer” that will act as a tool in the development of bespoke offers.

pink-droplet    Draft a template for a post-programme/intervention delivery report to be disseminated to funders as well as iheart senior management team and trustees, and to ensure that this report is completed by all participating schools.

pink-droplet    To research and be knowledgeable of other providers/organisations operating in this space and to identify how iheart’s provision is different and how to most effectively communicate this to prospective schools and delivery partners.

pink-droplet    Identify and engage in opportunities that enable the student voice to shape the continuous development of iheart programmes and the package of support on offer to each school., thereby enabling iheart to meet emerging needs as they arise.

pink-droplet    Initially this role will be staffed by one person, but in line with iheart’s projected growth, it is intended that this role will include management of at least one additional resource in time.
