For Young People: Resilience Tutoring
About the programme
iheart’s Resilience Tutoring programme expands the reach of the iheart message by offering 1-to-1 sessions to young people aged 9-18 outside of the school environment. Over 15,000 young people around the world have already been deeply impacted by our in-school curriculum, but we cannot rely solely on our schools to provide this crucial education. With the Resilience Tutoring programme, we can bring iheart directly to children in their own environment, either online or face-to-face.
Resilience tutoring empowers children to deal with issues such as self-esteem and labelling, social media usage, the bad behaviour of others and disagreements and conflict. Young people learn through facilitated lessons, experiential activities, engaging animations and dynamic exercises which take place over ten interactive and fun sessions, providing a common language and understanding for handling the inevitable challenges they will face in life. The programme includes an impactful course for parents as well, which supports their children on their resilience journey. Our whole-family approach is something no child or parent should miss out on.
The interactive sessions provide young people with a common language and understanding for handling the inevitable difficulties in life, something no child or family should miss out on.
iheart has a pool of facilitators based in a variety of countries across the globe. Search our facilitator directory to find and directly contact a facilitator that suits you.

Ali, Age 11
“I started the iheart programme because I was not feeling in a good mental space and I felt that I needed help in a way that would change my perspective on my life . Since completing it, I have felt so much happier with myself as I have come to understand that it doesn’t matter what people say because I know that inside I will be okay! The course is lots of fun with a range of different activities and I thoroughly enjoyed it.”
Lucas, Age 18
I was always so fixated on having so much to do and when I was stressed I would become self-destructive… With the iheart programme I learned how to take a step back and become more peaceful.
Aimee, Age 13
